Taking a leaf from Kwanto Zonke- Kobus Ehlers’ “Place of all things”, I am making a substantial attempt at relaunching my blog with higher quality material. The sad reality is that fewer and fewer people engage with blogs today, due to the proliferation of far more instant forms of social networking. In line with this, this blog will hopefully accompany a more active Twitter presence.

I plan on focusing my writing into select categories which I will initially limit to discussions of my travels (some of which I may attempt to backdate where I still have notes), reviews of places I’ve been, food I have eaten, wine I feel deserves some mention and anything else that may warrant a review. When I find it may be of some use to others, I may offer some technical writings, and opinions on the world at large.

A lot of this content, including photographs, will be of interest mainly to friends and family, but others may well benefit from some engagement with the content. As always, comment will be welcomed from those who have something to contribute.
