Indiana Jones, “Crown” Birthdays, and More
Written by Barns on May 26, 2008 – 10:03 amWell, another weekend is over. I’ve been back from TreasureCon for a week already and it really flew by. That’s probably due to the intensiveness which I approached my work over the past week. I had full intention to work most of the weekend, but didn’t get that much done…
It started on Friday evening, when Mathe and I went to see Indiana Jones. I was worried that the age difference between Dr Jones’ last appearance and this would spoil the story, but Stephen Spielberg is a genius… I enjoyed it because of the puzzles. Not that there were many left for the viewer to solve. The modern special effects were done in a subtle way and were well received.
Saturday was Dan’s birthday. He referred to it as his “Crown” Birthday, as he was turning 24 on the 24th. That means that this year was also my crown birthday. His party was a lot of fun, and ended up being a very late night! A mild hangover with plenty of tiredness meant that Sunday was a write-off.
Now, its Monday. Back to work…
